Rooksdown Community Group

Who are we?

A group of residents who responded to an invitation by the Parish Council to set up a working party with the purpose of fostering a good community spirit within Rooksdown.

What is our aim?

• To promote community activities for the enjoyment of Rooksdown residents
• To work towards the formation of a community Association with responsibility for the good running and maintaining of the ‘NEW’ Community Hall. (due to be built in approx 2 years)
• To take an active part in the planning stage of the community hall, having sought residents views on their recreational needs:
• To actively encourage residents to join the group

How can you help and be involved?

If you have an interest in our community and some spare time to offer, WE NEED YOU! This is an exciting time for Rooksdown residents, come and join us and be part of a motivated, supportive team working for our community. Community Group meetings are held at Saxonwood School, Barron Place, Rooksdown. You are welcome to join us.
