  1. Part Time - 20 hours per week - 2 year contract
    The post-holder will play a key role in the management and smooth running and marketing of the Rooksdown Community Centre and new community facilities. Working closely with the volunteer management committee and local statutory and voluntary sector partners, the Centre Manager will work to ensure that Rooksdown Community Facilities are vibrant, well managed facilities for local residents.
    Personal qualities are important: the post holder will need a strong commitment to helping members of the community get involved and help manage events in the community.
    The post holder will also need to be self-reliant, energetic and able to prioritise activities.

  4. We are currently working on opening new facilities in 2019/2020 and we are taking expressions of interest for regular hirers and those agencies who may be looking for venues to deliver services in the community.

    These new facilities:

    17 & 19 Greenlands Road - new community units
    Main Park Prewett Hall in Northbrook Crescent.

    Keep an eye out for how these will be brought into use as the building work continues.

    • Thursday Evening
    • Saturday - Morning & Afternoon
    We also have a new building opening in 2019 / 2020 and we are looking for expressions of interest for all days of the week for both term time and holidays.
